General information
The Arjuna tree is named for the warrior hero of the Indian epic the Mahabharata. It is a large tree common in the Indian subcontinent. The bark of the arjuna tree has traditionally been used as a tonic herb for cardiovascular health. The bark extract contains glycosides that promote heart health and antioxidants including flavones, tannins, and proanthocyanidins.
